The Journal of Muamalat and Islamic Finance Research (JMIFR) is an international, peer-reviewed platinum open-access journal published by USIM Press. The Journal published biannually in June and December. It is fully owned by USIM Press and managed by the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat (FEM), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). Its main objective is to provide a channel for the publication of articles, research notes and case studies in Muamalat, Islamic Economics, Finance, Banking and its related fields. All article will follow a double-blind review by independent consulting editors.

All articles published by JMIFR are made freely accessible online immediately upon publication. All interested readers can read, download, and/or print open access articles at no cost. Articles are published in English, Malay and Arabic. JMIFR is indexed and abstracted in MyCite, Index Islamicus, ResearchBib, Asian Digital Library and Google Scholar.
