About the Journal
AIMS & SCOPE
The Journal of Muamalat and Islamic Finance Research (JMIFR) is a fully refereed journal published biannually in June and December by USIM Press (Penerbit USIM). It is fully owned by USIM Press and managed by the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat (FEM), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). JMIFR aims to become a world class teaching, learning and research institution in Muamalat and Islamic finance. It is launched with the aspiration of stimulating quality research into Muamalat, Islamic finance, banking, accounting, economics, management and related areas.
SCOPE
JMIFR welcomes original articles, research notes, case studies that address significant issue in the following areas:
- Muamalat (Islamic Business)
- Islamic Economics
- Islamic Management & Administration
- Islamic Marketing
- Islamic Finance
- Islamic Banking
- Islamic Accounting & Corporate Governance
- Shariah Auditing
- Islamic Entrepreneurship & Social Enterprise

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published by JMIFR are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication. All interested readers can read, download, and/or print open access articles at no cost.
