The Role of Banks in Resolving the Obstacles to the Financing of Small Industrial Projects in Sudan

The study aims at identifying the role of banks in resolving the obstacles to finance small Sudan industries projects. The study shed lights on the relation between the various source of funding offered by the Sudanese banks and the process of operating these small projects. It also tries to find the connection between the loan high interest rates and the obstacles of financing the small industries project, as well as the relationship between high interest rates of loans and impediments to the financing of small industrial projects in Sudan. In addition to that the paper investigates the insufficient measures and guarantees of finance and the obstacles that small industrial projects face to be financed by local banks. To answer these questions, the researcher surveyed 105 participants by distributing questionnaires. The researcher used the SPSS program to analyze the data obtained. The result are as follow: banks do not provide facilities for small industrial projects interested in funding. In addition to the lack of funding CAF provides with high interest lending rates within the banks. Finally, the study concluded the following recommendations: banks should strive to provide appropriate facilities for industrial projects that wish obtain financing for their activities. As well as the need for the banks to provide the necessary funding in a timely manner and in light of the benefits of loans commensurate with the small industrial enterprises operating within the state size.
